Understand what verification means
Gundua can display separate checks for identity, location, business and product. A badge helps you assess evidence, but it does not remove commercial risk or guarantee future performance. Read the actual verification shown and investigate high-value transactions further.
Positive signals
- Consistent seller name and location
- Specific photos, specifications and price
- Clear invoice, stock and delivery terms
- Replies that address your exact request
Warning signs
- Pressure to pay immediately
- Unexpected account or phone changes
- Price far below comparable offers
- Refusal to document stock or delivery
Keep communication linked to the product
Use Gundua messages so the listing, seller and conversation stay connected. Do not send your email password, one-time code or mobile-money PIN. Gundua staff should never request those secrets.
Confirm payment and delivery independently
Check the recipient name, amount, order reference and payment purpose before approving a transfer. For large or unfamiliar deals, consider inspection, staged payment or collection. Confirm who carries transport, insurance, unloading and damage risk.
Report the exact problem
Save the listing URL, messages, invoice, payment reference, photos and delivery record. This evidence is more useful than a vague complaint and helps prevent repeat abuse.
