Match the part before comparing the price
Avoid expensive fitment mistakes when sourcing car, truck and motorcycle parts or tyres from Tanzanian sellers.
Send identifiers, not only a part name
“Brake pads” is rarely enough. Include vehicle make, model, year, engine or chassis details and the original part number when available. A clear photo of the old part, connector and label can help, but do not publish sensitive vehicle ownership documents on a public request.
Spare-parts checklist
- OEM or aftermarket part number
- Vehicle make, model, year and engine
- New, used or refurbished condition
- Warranty and return conditions
Tyre checklist
- Width, profile and rim diameter
- Load and speed rating
- Manufacturing date
- Quantity, fitting and balancing
Ask what the quoted price includes
Clarify whether tax, fitting, transport and refundable core charges are included. For used engines, gearboxes or electronics, ask how the condition was tested and what happens if the part fails the agreed check.
Keep the evidence
