Buy farm inputs and produce with clear quality terms
Use consistent grades, units and delivery information when sourcing fertilizer, seeds, equipment, coffee, cashew, grain and other Tanzanian produce.
For inputs, confirm authenticity and suitability
Fertilizer and seed requests should name the formulation or variety, package size, quantity, intended crop and destination. Ask for label photos, batch information, expiry details where relevant and a lawful supplier. A marketplace listing is not a substitute for agronomic advice; confirm that the input suits the crop and local conditions.
For produce, define the grade before the price
Quality details
- Moisture, cleanliness and grade
- Harvest or processing period
- Packaging and bag weight
- Inspection and sampling method
Commercial details
- Available quantity and minimum order
- Warehouse or farm location
- Loading, transport and delivery date
- Payment milestones and documents
Photos help, but bulk transactions should include a sample or agreed inspection process. Keep measurements in the same unit when comparing offers. If one seller quotes per kilogram and another per 100 kg bag, convert both and add delivery before choosing.
